The name Kuàt Iaê comes from Brazilian Indigenous mythology. Kuàt and Iaê are twin gods, known as “The Twins from the Sun and the Moon.” Together, they represent balance, duality, creation, and cosmic harmony — light and shadow, movement and stillness, the seen and the unseen. This symbolism reflects the essence of our brand: the union of ancient and modern, spiritual and practical, inner and outer journeys. Kuàt Iaê was founded by twin brothers Paulo Ricardo Vieira Borges and João Paulo Vieira Borges. Their shared life path, mirrored perspectives, and deep connection to travel and spirituality naturally shaped the identity of the brand.
